The Kibeam Wand™ brings the magic back to paper books and makes reading fun again. With a simple wave of the wand, your child can immerse themselves in each page and learn in a whole new way.

To turn the Kibeam Wand on, press and release the big green button. You'll know it's on when you hear instructions.

To turn the Kibeam Wand off, press and hold the small red button for about 4 seconds, until the orbs turn off.

Connect one end of the USB cable to the Kibeam Wand, and the other end to the power adapter. Then plug the adapter into an outlet.

While charging, the wand's orbs can be turned off by pushing the small red button. If you would like to turn the orbs back on, unplug the wand, wait for the orbs to turn orange and then plug the USB cable back into the wand.

When drained of power, the Kibeam Wand will take approximately 2 hours to fully charge.

Once fully charged, the battery life is approximately 2 to 3 hours.

The Kibeam Wand uses a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

Plugging the Kibeam Wand into a power source will automatically enable Bluetooth on the wand, making it ready to connect with the Kibeam Wand App. When the wand is unplugged, its Bluetooth is automatically disabled and won't connect to the app.

The Kibeam Wand can be connected to Wi-Fi through the following steps:

1. Plug the USB cable into the wand and a power source
2. With the Kibeam Wand app open, go to 'My Wands'.
3. Tap on the wand listed under My Wands. This will take you to the Wand Status screen.
4. Tap the 'Connect to Wi-Fi' button.
5. Look for and tap the Wi-Fi Network name you would like to connect to.
6. Enter the Wi-Fi password and tap the 'Connect' button.
7. When the wand connects to Wi-Fi, the app will return to the My Wands screen.

You can select a new Wi-Fi network through the following steps:

1. Plug the USB cable to the wand and a power source.
2. With the Kibeam Wand app open, go to 'My Wands'.
3. Tap on the wand listed under My Wands. This will take you to the Wand Status screen.
4. Tap the button with the current network name, which will have a Wi-Fi icon next to it.
5. The current network will appear on the Wi-Fi Network list.
6. At the bottom of the screen, tap the 'Unpair Current Wi-Fi' button.
7. When asked if you are sure you want to unpair, tap the 'Unpair Current Wi-Fi' button again.
8. A list of Wi-Fi networks in range will now appear in the 'Select Wi-Fi Network' list.
9. Tap on the Wi-Fi Network you would like to connect to.
10. Enter your Wi-Fi password and tap the 'Connect' button.
11. When the wand connects to the Wi-Fi network, the app will return to the My Wands screen.

After turning on your Wand, press and release the small red button until you hear "Adjust your volume." Next, press the big green button to change the volume setting. Press the small red button once more to select the new setting.

The Kibeam Wand App works on Apple and Android smartphones and tablets.

iPhones and iPads must have iOS 13 or higher.
Android phones and tablets must have Android 10 or higher.

Yes, an account is required to use the Kibeam Wand App. Please use the email or cell phone number associated with your NWRI registration.

Books can be downloaded onto the Kibeam Wand using the Kibeam Wand App.

First, be sure the USB cable is plugged into the Wand and a power source, and that your wand is connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Then go to 'My Shelf' in the app, tap on the book you'd like to add, then tap the 'Add Book' button.

New books become available every month! Be sure to allow notifications in the Kibeam Wand App in order to receive alerts when new books are available.

The Kibeam Wand volume can be adjusted through the app following these steps.

1. Open the Kibeam Wand App
2. If needed, log in.
3. Once logged in, go to the 'My Shelf' page.
4. Tap the wand icon in the upper left corner. This will take you to the My Wands screen.
5. Make sure your wand is plugged in and powered on.
6. Tap on the Kibeam Wand that is listed under My Wands. This will take you to the Wand Status screen.
7. Using the volume slider next to the image of the wand, drag it up or down to adjust the volume.
8. The wand will play a chime at the selected volume.
9. The wand's volume will remain set to the level represented here.
