Our Story
Kibeam is the brainchild of entrepreneur Jim Marggraff, inventor of the LeapFrog LeapPad, an extraordinarily popular and effective learning tool for children aged 3 to 7. Building on that success, a team of technical engineers, product designers, content creators and education experts from LeapFrog have come together for a new chapter in edtech, the Kibeam Wand Reading System.
Our Technology
The Kibeam Wand is an innovative, handheld device that teaches children to read through play. The wand features colorful lights, motion sensors and embedded AI to bring paper books to life in a fun and immersive way, while providing data analytics that support educators and parents. Through our platform, we’re learning how kids learn and applying that knowledge back into the experience to further enhance their reading development.
